My Top 5 Colleges

It’s hard to think that college is around the corner, I only have one more high school year left. If I’m including this year. It’s scary to think that I have to start getting ready for the real world. I would like to attend college for some type of law degree as well as a communication degree. For my future, I want to become a Crime Scene Investigator and write a book. I do not want to attend a school in my home state of Colorado because I feel like I need to spread my wings, but if I find the right school here then I will stay. 

University of Notre Dame 

The University of Notre Dame has always been my dream college and I would love to attend here. This school came to my attention when I was 8 years old, and ever since then I have made it my goal to be able to go there. I understand that it’s very difficult to get into this school but I have been trying my best to meet those requirements. I will take a 5-year program in the Department of Sociology which will get me a Master’s degree then get a Minor in the Journalism program. 

Kansas State University 

I would never have guessed that I would live in Kansas, but earlier this year I went on a roadtrip to K-State University for my brother’s 7v7 football team. We got to tour the campus and I fell in love with the school and the state. I will get a Minor in Mass Communications and a Bachelors in Criminology. 

Arizona State University

Since I work at Starbucks, I am able to apply for the online program at ASU for any bachelor’s degree. This option is the easiest and most helpful for me to get beyond high school education. I would major in Bachelor in Science of Criminology and Criminal Justice. 

University of Colorado Colorado Springs

This school is in my home state, but it’s not close to where I grew up so I would still have my independence. I found interest in UCCS earlier this year and kept it in my options of colleges. I would get a Minor in Sports Communication with a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice. 

Louisiana State University 

This school has always been in my mind because I’ve always been in love with Louisiana and I wouldn’t mind going to school there. I have a family friend who graduated from LSU and they said it was amazing. I would get a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology with a Minor in Mass Communication. 

I know I am only in my junior year of high school, but I need to have a plan for my future. I’ve been looking at colleges since middle school and now it’s time to start planning my future. I wonder what my future holds and where I will be studying at but I really hope it’s at Notre Dame.
