Tate Mcrae took the internet by storm in the late 2010’s as her music grew rapidly online. TikTok was a big contributor to her success, as this is where many of her songs got noticed. Tate McRae is a Canadian singer, dancer, and actress, first rising to fame on the American reality TV show So You Think You Can Dance. She has released two studio albums and many singles.
McRae has recently released her latest album, containing 14 tracks. TikTok was flooded with audios from the young artist’s new album, even before they were officially released. Tate McRae has used TikTok as a way to tease snippets of songs and gain a lot of press before she releases the final versions of the songs.

The album has seen a lot of success so far. Personally, I love the new album and have had it on repeat since it was released. Her music has helped many, especially teens, including myself, because of how relatable her lyrics tend to be. She releases music that focuses on relationships, or “situationships”, which tend to be a trend in this generation. Tate McRae has a lot of success ahead of her, and I am excited for her new music to come.
