The Hawk Haven is Horizon’s school cafe, completely run by students in the DECA program and located in the Student Center. Open before, after and during1st, 2nd, and 8th hour, you can get yourself a delicious drink, snack, or Hawk merch.

Hawks Haven specializes in making drinks of all types. Hot, cold, sweet, lactose-free — they truly have it all.

Senior barista Sydney Young has been working in Hawk Haven for two years and says her favorite drink is the Espresso Bomb.

Drinks range from $1.50 for Coffee, Tea, and Hot Cocoa to $4 for a Frappe. And with plenty of snacks to choose from, you’ll never go hungry in class.

Hawk Haven accepts cash, card ($5 minimum), and of course tips!

All money earned at the Hawk Haven goes towards DECA trips such as the State competition at the Broadmoor and Nationals in Nashville, TN.

Senior barista Dawson Atkins says, “Were better and cheaper than Starbucks.”

So, if you forgot a friend’s (or teacher’s) birthday, stayed up a couple hours too late studying, or just like supporting your fellow Hawks, make sure you stop by the Hawk Haven and grab yourself a drink!
