Tea— and I’m not talking about gossip— is a very diverse drink that comes in many different varieties: hot, cold, sweet, fruity, and more. Along with the diversity of flavors, tea also has many health benefits. Here are just a few!

High blood pressure

Tea is a natural way to reduce high blood pressure. According to a 2010 study done by the US National Library of Medicine, hibiscus sabdariffa (an ingredient found in herbal teas) can help reduce high blood pressure.

Bones

Forget milk! Green tea can increase bone strength too. Specifically, Moringa tea (a tea that comes from a plant found in South Asia) has been known to have more calcium than milk; this helps keep those bones nice  and healthy.

Teeth

Smile wide, because tea is well known to prevent cavities and protect from tooth decay. Lactobacillus and streptococcus are the chemicals found in tea that can help prevent these mouth diseases, and keep your smile sparkling.
