The time has come where we all were able to digest the changes America will face. In everyone’s opinions it could be bad or good. I will not be disclosing my personal decision on the matter but would like to share some information on our somewhat new president for 2024-2028.
I say somewhat new president because President Donald Trump was our president back in the 2016-2020 term. For those who don’t know much about Trump, he is 78 years old with 5 children. His youngest child Barron Trump has recently started his college education at NYU. Donald Trump is a politician, businessman, and a movie star. He has appeared in The Little Rascals (1994) and Home Alone 2 (1990) as well as other movies.
In 2016, Donald Trump accepted the Republican nomination for President. With beating 17 other contenders. He won more than 2,600 counties nationwide in the 2016 election. During his first term as president, he accomplished many things for our country. Opportunities for citizens to work, tax relief for the middle-class, massive deregulation, secured trade deals, energy independence, invested in families, protection from the COVID-19 virus, attempting to secure the border, and many more accomplishments he had. But, it wasn’t all good for his first term. The coronavirus came into the country in 2020, affecting every single family in the world. Many hardships had occurred during this time. The violence and riots that had taken place during this time was horrible. Colorado being put on a lockdown because of the downtown riots.
In the most recent election of 2024, Donald Trump won with 312 electoral votes against Kamala Harris’ 226 electoral votes. Trump won Montana, Idaho, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wyoming, Nevada, Utah, Arizona, Arkansas, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, Alaska, Iowa, Missouri, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Tennessee, Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina, Kentucky, West Virginia, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin.
Trump is now our 45th and 47th president of the United States of America.
