What do you think are the most common athlete injuries?

In the sports world, there is a load of injuries that an athlete can experience. There are also loads of sports in the world. You can get injured from doing anything from soccer and football or cheer and dance. My question was, what are the common athlete injuries for each sport and can you be more prone to an injury just because you play a certain sport? Let’s take a look at some of the common injuries for each sport, and possibly how we can stop these injuries

Preventable?

Injuries may be seen as the most common byproduct of participating in sports, however, these injuries that occur in children could be seen as very preventable. Johns Hopkins Medicine recommends that parents encourage their children to open up about pain and about if something is bothering them, in order to truly try and fix any of these injury issues before they progress into something much worse. Another huge aspect of helping prevent injuries is emphasizing safety in practice. Safe Kids USA states that about 62% of athlete’s injuries occur during practices. Children, parents, and coaches should be emphasizing and practicing safety precautions at both games AND practice. Now let’s talk about what the main injuries are for each sport, in order to look out for the signs of these different injuries.
