This time of year can be very hectic especially for students. Cramming for finals, studying for AP tests, and competing in track meets and tennis tournaments, gives Horizon students plenty to work with. Coming up in April, Student Government will provide students with another fun opportunity to participate in this year’s Color Run! Not only will the race be accompanied by food, but it also supports the cause of a local elementary student, Jackson. Jackson was born with a half of a heart and was diagnosed with CHARGE syndrome at a very young age. Student Government’s main goal is to essentially save Jackson’s life through paying for treatment and research raised by money from the Color Run.
