Last week Horizon hosted a blood drive, which entailed waiting three hours in the auditorium lobby, eating a bunch of snacks, and hoping to God that getting blood drawn wouldn’t hurt as much as you think it will. By donating blood once you are able to save up to three lives. The unfortunate part about giving blood(at least in my experience) is that it does hurt when they stab your arm with a large needle and have to squeeze a stress ball the entire time (which feels a bit more tiring than what you would expect). The good part about giving blood is that you are helping others, and you get a snack.
