The State Cross Country meet took place last Saturday, and brought together high schools from all across Colorado. The Horizon Boy’s Varsity team was able to go to state this year along with Lizzy Crawford who ran as an individual. The boys were able to get 18th place all together, which was really good. Lizzy Crawford also took 18th place. Lizzy Crawford got 39th place last year, therefore, this was an insane jump for her. The Horizon Cross Country team did an amazing job at state. If you see them around, definitely tell them good job as they 100% deserve it. Way to go, Hawks!!!!
