Wednesday October 5 starts off Horizon’s Women’s Empowerment Club with the bang! The session included the topics of volunteering, visitors, and many more goals of the club for the 2022-2023 school year. The founders of the club, Samantha Saiki and Leyla Castillo, stated that their main intent with the club is to make a genuine difference within the school and community. Their next meeting will take place on the first Wednesday of November and everyone is welcome to attend. Be on the lookout for their trunk or treat car featuring a female superhero theme in the meantime!
