For their SOAR project last year, Lizzy Crawford, Lauryn Munsch, Amy Mae Lundstrom, and Madison Fillerup decided to open up a resource closet. At first they started with a small closet in the counseling office that was filled with basic necessities kids could come and get. But now they are moving upstairs to a bigger space with even more food and necessities. The team was able to get funding from the Five Star Foundations and they helped them get more items for their store. The store will be filled with anything from “toothpaste to pasta”, according to Lizzy Crawford. 

There are QR codes posted all around the school on posters where students can fill out an order form for any items they are in need of. Orders can be picked up every Wednesday after school. If you are in need of some items, definitely go check out Hueys Home Goods Store…Open Now!!!
