After working from mid December into now late February, the amazing cast, crew, and orchestra of Anastasia will be opening this weekend, and having shows February 25, 26 and March 4 and 5. Using a simplistic set along with the broadway projections, the show transports audiences into 1927 St. Petersburg. Set only ten years after the Russian Revolution, people still have hope that the princess Anastasia is still alive. We follow Dmitry and Vlad trying to create a “Anastasia” to con the Dowager Empress of her money. The show runs for about two hours including intermission, and is a beautiful musical starring Ashlyn Makelky as Anya, Garrett Auld as Dmitry and Tony Anya as Vlad.
