As the new year is here, this means more fun events are coming to Denver. However with the growing concern of the corona virus again, this leaves the concert event calendar very uncertain. Many artists have already been canceling their tours as they or their crew don’t feel safe working in those conditions. Many artists who canceled their tours last year have also rescheduled some for this year.

This list will cover a variety of venues, such as Red Rocks, Ball Arena, Mission Ballroom, etc. Billboard music has actually rated Red Rocks Amphitheater as the world’s most attended concert venue, with its 9,500 capacity and highly competitive calendar. You can also expect to see festivals such as The UMS, Westword Music Showcase and Sunnyside to return to Colorado.

Covid outbreaks are very uncommon at concert venues. But every major promoter including AEG presents Rocky Mountains and Live Nation, have enacted stricter Covid-19 protocols, to help stop the spread of covid. It’s important to note that in many of the coming concerts proof of vaccination and/or a negative COVID test within a day or two of the show will likely remain. For example, Ball Arena requires,  (1) proof that the individual is fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or 2) proof of a negative COVID-19 PCR or antigen test taken no earlier than 72 hours prior to the event you are attending. They are also requiring all guests wear masks no matter the vaccination status. Before you go make sure you look on the venue’s website to make sure you have what you need before you go.
