On Thursday, November 4th, Horizon High School’s own advanced women’s choir, Bella Voce, performed at the Metropolitan State University Choral Festival. Although nervous for the performance, the group performed wonderfully impressing both the audience and judges. The songs that the group performed were A Choral Flourish, Voice Dance, and I’ll Tell My Ma. Bella Voce was the most nervous about rushing during I’ll Tell My Ma during the body percussion, and not sounding together enough for Voice Dance. All in all, the performance went well, getting mostly ones (Superior) and a couple of twos (good). Bella Voce is very excited to no longer have to perform these songs, but is excited for what is to come from their choir.
