10/21: Thursday the 21st of October was a big day for the Horizon Cross Country team! The regional meet was an important day for the varsity runners because it determines who qualifies for state – top 15 individuals and top 4 teams. Huge advancements came for the boys team as they finished 4th and qualified for state while Lizzy Crawford qualified as an individual after finishing 7th place. Wish your fellow Hawks luck next week at state. The competition will be at the Norris Penrose Event Center in Colorado Springs and races are at 9:00 (5A girls) and 10:20 (5A boys).
