Horizon’s Varsity Softball has had one heck of a season. Hawks Softball has never seen a season like this ever before. These girls have won every single game of their season and had become the #1 Varsity Softball team in the whole state of Colorado. Varsity softball became first in the state once they had won their game against Fossil Ridge on September 28th, 2021 and beat every school after that with flying colors. From there they became league 

champions once they won against Legacy on October 9th 2021. They officially started their regional games on October 16th, 2021 where they won against Highlands Ranch and Ralston Valley. Horizon took the lead in both games, 14-1 against  Highlands Ranch and 8-2 over  Ralston Valley.

Furthermore, these girls just kicked off  the CHSAA State Tournament on October 22nd, 2021 against Castle View, winning 5-3 and moving into the quarter finals with Chatfield High School. On October 23rd, these girls had lost their final CHSAA state game against Legend, where the score was 7-2.  These girls have had an exceptional season and Horizon is super proud of this amazing group of girls and their coaches.
