If you are ever hungry during school, or sick of the school lunches, then you should consider making your own lunch!

Packing your own lunch will not only improve your health, but it’ll help you save money and allow you to pack as much food as you’d like. Although some sleep may be lost, it’ll be worth it when you open your lunch and see a nice delicious meal inside.

 

Buffalo Chicken Wrap

Ingredients: Large tortilla, buffalo sauce, ranch (optional), deli chicken meat, shredded lettuce Materials: 10 in2 tin foil

Directions: Lay the tin foil flat. Lay the tortilla flat in the center of the tin foil. Place the chicken and shredded lettuce in the middle of the tortilla in a vertical line. Then, add the buffalo sauce and ranch on the chicken and lettuce. Wrap the tortilla like burrito.

 

Vegan Lemon Cream Pasta (via veggiessavetheday.com)

Ingredients: Spaghetti noodles, 1 cup cashews, 1 cup water, 3 tablespoons lemon juice, salt

Materials: Medium saucepan, blender, strainer, wooden spoon

Directions: Boil the spaghetti in a medium-sized saucepan according to instructions on box. Squeeze 3 tablespoons of lemon juice, a cup of cashews, 3 tablespoons of lemon juice, and 2 pinches of salt into the blender; then blend till very smooth texture. Drain the cooked pasta, then add pasta and sauce back into saucepan. Toss well, and serve.

 

Vegetarian Cacio e Pepe (via vegitariangastronomy.com)

Ingredients: Spaghetti noodles, grated parmesan, cracked black pepper, ⅓ stick of butter, water

Materials: Large saute pan, whisk, stove

Directions: Boil pasta until cooked. While this is happening, add the ⅓ stick of butter to a large saute pan and add a half a cup of water. Add black pepper, and put saute pan to medium heat. Whisk well, then combine both the sauce and noodles. Serve.
