Those long summer nights are officially over, meaning it is time to sharpen your pumpkin carving skills and create your halloween costumes.

If you and your friends have no clue of what to do this spooky season, here is are a few ideas that will fill your bucket list with fun.

If you are lacking inspiration, take a look at what other people are doing.

In an Instagram survey of 160 people that had them choose their favorite of two different fall activities stated, (participants ranging from 14-20 years old), almost 100 of them stated that they would rather have a movie night than go to a haunted house.

So, by all means, grab a friend or two and watch some of those spooky classics while drinking some hot cocoa.

However, students in the survey also stated how much fun corn mazes are too, so don’t pass them up. There are plenty of those around, so go check one out and see some spooky creatures hidden within!

Fall is not only a time to celebrate fear, but it is also a beautiful season.

Brittney Brown (junior) stated that her favorite part of fall was the pumpkin patches. Rachel Ardehali (junior) said that watching the leaves change color is her favorite part.

Carving pumpkins is also always a fun activity to do in the fall. Not only do you get to be creative, but you get to eat the pumpkin seeds afterwards!

Other fun fall activities include: going to haunted houses to face all those fears, dressing up, and maybe even going trick-or-treating when Halloween comes around.

When we were little, we probably only thought of fall as a season where we got free candy and jumped in leaves for fun. You’d be surprised to know that nobody likes to jump in leaves anymore, and giving treats is preferred over receiving them. Because we are all older now, seeing how others are dressed up is preferred over dressing up; the survey stated earlier proves that to be true.

Fall contains more than just the scary costumes that get you candy. Thanksgiving comes at the end of the season, which gives you a more broad area to expand these activities.

If you’re not into celebrating these holidays, you could just make decorations with pumpkin carving, or baking. Regardless, though, fall offers many opportunities to enjoy it in its fullest this season.
