It’s the holiday season, and as I was writing that Andy Williams’ Happy Holiday/The Holiday Season started playing in my mind. To celebrate everything holiday, holly and jolly, merry and bright, Horizon’s Student Government held a winter spirit week from December 6th to the 10th. Oh, and speaking of music, they planned each day to coordinate with an iconic holiday tune! Merry Monday went with Andy Williams’ The Most Wonderful Time of the Year. Underclassmen showed spirit while repping green attire while the upperclassmen wore red. Let it Snow by Frank Sinatra was the chill beat for Cozy Tuesday. This spirit day was all about relaxation and comfort, which all come along with the vibes of the holiday season! Wednesday was all about Holiday Gear where students were Deck(ing) the Halls with colorful light necklaces, Santa hats, and reindeer antlers. Grinch vibes were in fullsend on Thursday for Ugly Sweater Day, representing Your a Mean One Mr. Grinch. Finally, Friday took us home for the holidays as Santa Claus Is Comin’ To Town with Colorado Gear. To wrap up (pun intended) our holiday celebration, Horizon Student Government decorated the school with festive gear and fun posters for spirit week. Wishing you the jolliest of holidays, peace out hawks!
