On September 3, the Cross Country team raced in their second meet of the season. This meet 

was a great one for Horizon as Journalism member Lizzy Crawford got on Horizons Top 10 Junior list of all time. Lizzy was the first female runner to come in for Horizon and she took 24th place and ran 20:42.00 on the 5000 meter run. Junior Brett Davis was the first male to come in for Horizon and got 16:52.00 on the 5000 meter run. As you can see Horizon has some insanely fast runners.

Cross Country still has a lot more meets left in the season, so you can still go support them. The next varsity meet will be held on October 1st at the Thornton invitational.
