The Denver Broncos: the only team to sit 5280 feet above sea level, and Colorado’s local NFL team. This season has been filled with outstanding moments, but most have been outshined by their poor coaching and failure to execute a win.

However, now being in the final stretch for the NFL postseason, the Broncos are within a grasp of being able to reach the playoffs. Many obstacles stand in the way of reaching the goal, but, with hope, anything is possible.

According to New York Times, the chances seem simple. However, the gambles that football games prove to hold can make the easiest of wins turn to the worst of losses.

The Denver Broncos, led by quarterback Case Keenum and linebacker Von Miller, must win out the rest of the season. This means that when playing the Cleveland Browns, Oakland Raiders, and Los Angeles Chargers, each game must result in a win.

The playoff picture does not only rest in the Broncos’ hands. It comes down to the results of other teams as well.

The Miami Dolphins–led by quarterback Ryan Tannehill–must lose two of their three remaining games.

Both the Pittsburgh Steelers, led by future Hall of Famer Ben Roethlisberger, or the Baltimore Ravens, led by new quarterback Lamar Jackson, must lose two of their next three games as well.

Along with each of those odds happening, the Indianapolis Colts and the Tennessee Titans must lose one out of their next three games.

The odds may be slim, but with high hopes, a strong fanbase, an elite rookie class, and talented veterans, the Denver Broncos just may have a chance of reaching it to the 2018 postseason.
